Want more options without straying too far from your favorite image? With Create similar, you can generate up to three new versions of any image while preserving its original style. Add subtle tweaks, like a different pose or new mood, with just a few clicks.
Choose from Lummi’s library or upload your own image as the reference.
We use the Stable Diffusion Style API to extract stylistic elements—like colors, textures, and composition—from the reference image.
You can either provide a prompt to customize the result or skip the prompt to create similar versions of the original image.
When using an image reference: Image type is disabled to ensure the reference image defines the style. But you can customize aspect ratio and type of shot.
To get started, select your image and click the Create similar option under the Tools & Effects menu. Next, customize the tweaks you want, including prompt and aspect ratio, and select Create.

You can find your new images in your Create tab where you’ll be able to further customize them. This tab is located to the left of the Lummi search bar.
Every image you generate using Create similar is saved here. You can manage the images and even share your creations with the Lummi community by making them discoverable. Plus, you can edit your metadata to make your images easier for the community to find.
Create Similar already uses the Stable Diffusion Style API to extract style elements, so don't overthink it. Keep your prompts short for the most consistent results — even one key word will do!
